QuickBooks Integration
QuickBooks Integration for Land Surveyors - Desktop and Online.
Kudurru Stone syncs your clients, projects, time, invoices, and quotes with both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online - two ways, automatically, with no double entry.
No credit card required.
The gap between your field system and your books is where money leaks.
Most field software supports QuickBooks Online and leaves Desktop firms out in the cold - and plenty of survey firms still run Desktop. So the crew logs hours in one place, a bookkeeper re-keys invoices into QuickBooks in another, and a dropped number turns into a billing error nobody catches until month-end.
Enter it once.
It's in both.
Log a client, time, or invoice in Kudurru Stone - it lands in QuickBooks automatically. No re-keying, no double entry.
How the QuickBooks sync works.
Pick your QuickBooks
Connect to QuickBooks Online through Intuit's secure sign-in, or to QuickBooks Desktop through Intuit's free Web Connector - whichever your firm runs.
Your records sync up
Clients become QuickBooks Customers, and each project syncs as a sub-customer. Invoices sync as invoices, quotes as Estimates, and field hours as employee time.
Reference data syncs down
Employees, service items, and tax codes come from QuickBooks into Kudurru Stone, so your invoice lines use your real items and codes. On Desktop, vendors, classes, payroll items, and templates sync too.
It runs on its own
Online syncs automatically in the background; Desktop syncs on the schedule you set. When an Online invoice is paid and hits a zero balance, Kudurru Stone marks it paid for you.
Built for the way a survey firm actually bills.
Supporting both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online is rare - most tools pick Online and abandon every firm still on Desktop. Kudurru Stone built a dedicated engine for each, and mirrors your billing: the Client → Project hierarchy lands in QuickBooks as Customer → sub-customer, giving you per-project profitability without configuring a thing. On Desktop, it even keeps Classes, Payroll Items, and Vendors in step - the objects generic integrations quietly skip.
What syncs
- QuickBooks Online - Intuit's secure cloud API (OAuth). Connect once, syncs automatically, tokens refresh themselves.
- QuickBooks Desktop - Intuit's free Web Connector + QBXML. Syncs customers, projects, time, invoices, estimates, employees, items, vendors, classes, payroll items, and templates.
- Two-way on both. Records go up; employees, items, tax codes, and paid status come back.
- Included in base pricing - no add-on.
QuickBooks integration questions.
Both. Kudurru Stone has a dedicated integration for QuickBooks Desktop (via Intuit's Web Connector) and a separate one for QuickBooks Online (via Intuit's secure cloud API). You use whichever your firm runs.
Both ways. Kudurru Stone sends clients, projects, employee time, invoices, and quotes to QuickBooks, and pulls employees, service items, and tax codes back. On Desktop it also syncs vendors, classes, payroll items, and templates; on Online it also brings back invoice paid status.
QuickBooks Online syncs automatically in the background. QuickBooks Desktop syncs on the interval you set in the Web Connector.
Yes. Each client becomes a QuickBooks Customer and each project becomes a sub-customer under it, so QuickBooks tracks costs and profit by project automatically.
The Desktop sync uses Intuit's standard Web Connector, which runs against your QuickBooks company file on the schedule you set. QuickBooks Online needs nothing installed - you authorize it once and it runs in the cloud.
No. On Online, if an invoice already exists in QuickBooks, Kudurru Stone links to it instead of creating a duplicate, and items and tax codes come from your QuickBooks file so lines match your existing chart.
No. It's included in base pricing, with no add-on required.
Connect QuickBooks and watch your first invoice sync.
Seven days. No credit card. No demo required. Connect QuickBooks Desktop or Online and see the double entry disappear.
